June 12 Remembrance Walk in Osogbo 2024
All Potentials youths in Osun organised a walk in commemoration of June 12 Anniversary in honour of Late Chief Moshood Kashimaawo Olawale Abiola popularly known as MKO, who won the June 12 1993 Presidential election and which was later annulled by the then military ruler, Gen. Ibrahim Gbadamosi Babangida.
MKO was unarguably Man of the people and he should had been the first democratically elected President in Nigeria if not for the annulment.
The day which is celebrated in Nigeria as Democracy day was marked with A walk from Aiyetoro Roundabout Osogbo toward Adolak Event Hall Ogo Oluwa and which ended at the Hall where Lectures, Dramas, were given
Youths from across Osun State were present at the event which as organised by the Osun State Ministry of Special duties in attendance were, The Governor of Osun State, represented by Hon Teslim Igbalaye and other dignitaries, The SSA to the Governor on Special duties, Com Seun Emmanuel and NYCN State Coordinator Com. Abdulmajeed was on ground as the leader of Osun youths
