The 16th Convocation Ceremony Of The University Of The Gambia
His Excellency President Adama Barrow, also the Chancellor of the University of The Gambia (UTG), on Sunday graced the 16th Convocation Ceremony of students who have completed their studies at diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate degree levels. The ceremony was held at the University Campus at Faraba Banta.
In his address, President Barrow congratulated the new graduates for their dedication, perseverance, and hard work. He further encouraged the graduating students to strive to become agents of change by “using their knowledge to be pro-active, innovative and resilient in solving society's challenges.”
The President was honoured to present special recognition awards of excellence to the best-graduating students for their excellent higher education journey and outstanding achievements at UTG.
Cabinet Ministers, Parliamentarians, senior Government officials, and other dignitaries accompanied the President.
