Nigerian Navy Medical Outreach to Rumuolumeni Community

The strategic offensive role of a navy is projection of force into areas beyond a country’s shores (for example to protect sea lanes, deter or confront piracy, ferry troops, etc.). The strategic defensive purpose of a navy is to frustrate seaborne projection of force by adversaries – All these in a bid to defend a nation’s territorial integrity.

The people of Rumuolumeni community in Rivers State were therefore pleasantly surprised when the Nigerian Navy Command in Rivers State, NNS Pathfinder at the directive of the Chief of Naval Staff took time out of their statutory responsibilities to organize a free medical rhapsody on Tuesday 16th April 2024.
