Gov. Fubara Celebrates 2024 Eid with Muslims in Rivers State ll 10th April 2024
Muslims in Rivers State have paid a courtesy visit on the State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, as part of activities bringing to an end the month-long Ramadan fast.
At an interactive session in Government House Port Harcourt, the Governor assured his visitors of his administration’s commitment to promoting the freedoms of expression and worship as well as providing for an environment to enable and drive growth and prosperity, and for the safeguard of life and property.
The visitors assured Gov. Fubara of their support towards his success at the helm of affairs of Rivers State. The Governor was particularly commended for revamping the Songhai Farms, reintroduction of the pilgrimage, and the execution of other people-oriented programs and projects.
Leader of the delegation Alhaji Uhor Nasir acknowledged Governor Fubara’s role in the provision of community service and other people-oriented services to the people of Rivers State and urged for the mobilization of total support for Gov. Fubara, moving forward. Alhaji Mujaheed Asari Dokubo was also part of the delegation.
