The Profile of Amb Nwodi Daniel Chinedu ACIPM, HRPL GITD

NWODI Daniel Chinedu is the Founder and Executive Director of Students without Borders International which was founded in the year 2006 and a Managing Director of Swift Elevators Limited, Lagos.

Daniel is an achiever-driven and versatile university graduate. I have strong leadership abilities and a track record of problem-solving. His key interests are in the areas of Administrative Management, Public Relations, and Human/Personnel Development. He seeks his role in the field that makes the best use of my vast array of resource mobilization and related skills. In addition, He is a team player, an effective communicator with very good media skills and he has strong analytical research skills. He can function well in any culturally diverse environment by demonstrating cultural and social intelligence.

Daniel was a guest speaker at Universite D’Abomey Calavi, Republic of Benin (2007), Pan Africa Students’ Summit, Accra, Ghana (2010), American Community School, Abu Dhabi, Dubai UAE at the Global Issue Conference (2012), the University of Ibadan at the Physiology Students Convention which (16) universities were present (2012), Nigerian International School, Cotonou, Republic of Benin (2015), Global Leadership Institute (2016), Badagry Corridor Graduate Youth Capacity Building Conference (2016). Organization of West African Youths Conference, Abidjan (2018), the University of Lagos at the Pharmacy Department Week (2020) just to mention a few.

Daniel is the present Managing Director, Swift Elevators Limited, Former Human Resources Manager Active Foods Limited (FMCG), Human Resources Officer Level 10, Civil Services Commission Lagos State Government, Human Resources / Business Manager for Green Bliss Projects, Human Resources / Operations Manager, Human Capital Manager at Owppin Limited (FMCG), Personnel and Recruitment Manager at Hensmor Nigeria Limited, an Oil and Gas downstream company. Daniel was a presenter at Universite D’Abomey Calavi, (Radio Univers) and National Radio (Atlantic FM) Cotonou, Republic of Benin.

Daniel was the President of, Nigeria Youth Association in the Republic of Benin (2009). a graduate from Universite D'Abomey Calavi, Republic of Benin (2010). Daniel is a member of Nigeria Institute of Training and Development (2014), a member of the National Youth Assembly of Nigeria (2016), a member of the ECOWAS Youth Council (2016), a board member of Speak Africa International (2020), a director of Anti-Corruption Education at the Organization of West African Youths (2017), Board member of Global Human Development initiative (2018), a member of Nigerian Governance Affairs Council (NIGAC) (2020), a member of International Youth for Human Right, Nigeria Chapter (2018), a member of United States Government Exchange Alumni Association, Lagos Branch (2016) and an Ambassador of Young African Leadership Initiative, Regional Leadership Centre, Accra, Ghana (2015).

Daniel is an award winner of Rotary Leadership Award, Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) award as recognition of meritorious National Services in Lagos State, Most Active Corp Member in Badagry (2011), Nominated For Future Award Best Use of Advocacy, the best 160 Nigerian Youth in Nigeria (2010) by Futures Award, National Association of Nigerian Students, Lagos Axis as Africa Patriot (2007), The most outstanding Nigerian Youth in the Republic of Benin (2010) by Houdegbe North American University, (MASCOT AWARD). He was one of Leap Africa Most Outstanding Integrity Alumni at the 10th Anniversary Celebration (2012), Daniel was the youngest awardees at the Rainbow Choice Awards the organizers of Ugwashi-Uku Carnival, December 2016 in Delta State where he got a community award in recognition of his iconic and pioneering efforts in youth leadership training and development preparing the youths for the futures in our nation.

Daniel was awarded at the Civil Society Awards 2017 in recognition of his commitment and contributions to Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that took place at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Victoria Island, Lagos under the category of Democracy / Legislative Advocacy. This award was in conjunction with his partner in Liberia (Inspired Liberia Project).

Daniel was one of the 105 Young African Leadership Initiatives (YALI) that was selected in West Africa out of 9000 youths that applied for YALI-RLC West Africa. Daniel is an alumnus of YALI-Regional Leadership Centre, Accra, Ghana, West Africa. Daniel also speaks the French Language fluently. In the year 2021, he was awarded for Sustainable Impacted Award by COURSAD, Lagos for his impact on youth development. In 2023, he got an award from Empowering Africans through Education Initiative in recognition for unweaving support towards the young internship program.

Daniel is one of the outstanding Young African Leaders Initiative, Regional Leadership Centre (YALI-RLC) alumni creating awareness and outreach programs in rural communities and universities so that young people can know more about the Young African Leaders Initiative.

Daniel was trained by Junior Chamber International, Obafemi Awolowo University, 200., The EFCC Training School, Abuja by LEAP Africa on Anti-Corruption Education (2006). The Rotary Leadership Training (RYLA) at Citizenship and Leadership Training at Sea School, Apapa, Lagos (2005), National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Regional Training at Abeokuta (2008), The Nigerian Cultural Studies Network on People and Cultures in Nigeria at Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo State, (2008), International Youth Fellowship (World Congress), Cotonou, Republic of Benin (2010).

Daniel has impacted over 30,000 young Africans since 2006 in the following countries, Nigeria, Republic of Benin, Togo, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Zambia, Sierra-Leone, Liberia, Gambia, South Africa, UAE (Abu-Dhabi), and the USA, these are both Online and physical training and mentorship in these areas of focus Anti-Corruption Education, Drug-Free Education, Human Right Education, Youth Exchange Programs, Youth Leadership Programs, Tourism (Excursion & Retreats) Agriculture for the Youths & Study Abroad Programs.

The Students with Borders International which Amb. Nwodi Daniel Chinedu is the Executive Director celebrated her 15th years Anniversary / Awards Ceremony on the 15th April 2021 at American Corner, CCHub, Sabo, Yaba, Lagos Nigeria.
