Delta State, Empower Green Initiative.
Today, we are thrilled to announce the launch of the Empower Green Initiative, designed to empower 4,000 Agropreneurs across selected Local Government Areas in Delta State. If you reside in the designated LGAs of Patani, Okpe, Uvwie, Isoko South, Isoko North, Warri North, Warri South, or Warri South West, we invite you to join us in this transformative endeavor. This initiative is in line with the MORE Agenda, dedicated to bolstering food security through Bag Farming.
Each of the 4,000 participants will undertake the task of cultivating 50 bags, collectively amounting to 200,000 bags of plants. When laid out, this will cover approximately 12 hectares, with plants spaced 60cm apart within rows 90cm apart. We anticipate that this approach will significantly contribute to Delta State's food production over the next five months.
