TOURISM IS AN INDUSTRY WHERE FRIENDSHIP REMAINS KEY TO SUCCESS… it is not just an activity was the message spelled out to students at University of Sadat in Egypt by Tourism Consultants Alain St.Ange & Dr Jens Thraenhart

Alain St.Ange & Dr Jens Thraenhart, two known and respected Tourism Consultants were recently invited to address the Tourism Faculty Students at the University of Sadat in Sadat City of Egypt, and both left the University Compound satisfied that students appreciated that success in tourism as an industry is based on friendships between professionals and that this vital industry was not just an activity.

This was the message spelled out to students at University of Sadat in Egypt by Tourism Consultants Alain St.Ange & Dr. Jens Thraenhart as they addressed amphitheater full of University Management, lecturers, and students.

Prof. Noha Osman Azmy, the Dean of Faculty of Tourism and Hotel, Dr Heba Gaafar of the Tourism Faculty and Asaad A. Zaki, Director of the Internationalization and Global Engagement Unit, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels - University of Sadat City amongst others had put together a complete day of discussions and lectures at the University.

Dr Jens Thraenhart issued a paper on the day at the University that said it all. He wrote under the heading of “Inspiring the Next Generation: The Role of Education” in which he said: - ‘An integral part of our mission focused on engaging with the young generation, fostering talent within the tourism and travel industry through education.

Education and talent development play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the tourism and travel industry. During the trade mission, we had the opportunity to engage with students and faculty at Sadat City University, inspiring and fostering talent within the sector as Mr. Alain St. Ange and I had the privilege of giving a guest lecturing. I was able to present my six-pillar strategy to achieve balanced tourism growth, leading to a sustainable and regenerative tourism destination leveraging digital, data, and artificial intelligence to execute collaborative storytelling campaigns and building passionate micro-niche communities.

This experience highlighted the importance of inspiring and educating future leaders in tourism, ensuring the sustainable growth and innovation of the industry’. Both St.Ange and Thraenhart said as they left the University in Sadat City that more such addresses and dialogue must remain on their working agendas and they continue their Tourism Consultancy work
