Empowering NADESSTU-LASU: A Recap of Our Strategy Meeting

Greetings, NADESSTU-LASU Members,

I am excited to share with you the key takeaways from our recent strategy meeting, which was held with immense enthusiasm and participation from our esteemed members, including President-Elect Uroh Emmanuel, Speaker-Elect Anani David, and other dedicated individuals on the 2nd March 2024 at The Place Restaurant Egbeda, Lagos.

The primary objectives of our gathering were to address pressing student welfare concerns and to lay the groundwork for the upcoming National Delta State Student Union -LASU Cultural Day, scheduled to take place in June 2024. It was a collaborative effort aimed at enhancing the overall student experience and fostering a sense of unity and pride within our community. The Students without Borders International, a Non Governmental, and non-profit Organization whose sole purpose is youth development and sustainable service to humanity which Amb Nwodi Daniel Chinedu is the Executive Director has shown interest in partnering with 7th NADESSTU-LASU Administration.

Throughout our discussions, we delved into various initiatives aimed at supporting student welfare, academic success, and personal development. From brainstorming innovative programs to addressing challenges faced by our members, each voice was heard and valued in our pursuit of collective progress.

A significant highlight of our meeting was the planning for the NADESSTU-LASU Cultural Day. This event holds immense significance as it provides us with a platform to celebrate our diverse cultural heritage, showcase our talents, and strengthen bonds of unity among students. I am excited about the opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate the richness of our cultural tapestry.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all participants for their valuable contributions and unwavering commitment to the betterment of our student community. Your passion and dedication are the driving forces behind our collective success, and I am grateful for your continued support.

As we move forward, I urge all members to remain actively engaged and involved in our efforts to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all students at Lagos State University.

Stay tuned for more updates and announcements as we work together to empower and uplift NADESSTU-LASU!

Warm regards,

Ambassador Nwodi Daniel Chinedu
