The cyclical nature of Nigerian politics. There was a time not too long ago when the APC was in such disarray that people thought they would be in the political wilderness for a long time. That did not happen. They were able to get their act together and form the government. The same will happen for the PDP.
After a time, people will tire of the APC regardless of performance, and kick them to the curb. The PDP will regain power. While this never-ending cycle continues, the nation continues on its downward trajectory of crime and violence, widespread and protracted poverty, corruption at every level, incompetence, hopelessness and helplessness. Sadly, a people who have not demonstrated that they can effectively govern themselves regardless of who is in power.
