Reactions to the Student Loan Act 2024
Several reactions have been trailing the signing into law of the Student loans (Access to Higher Education) Act (Repeal and Re-Enactment) bill 2024 early in April.
Students in tertiary institutions visited say it is a welcome development and are thankful to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the speedy approval and assent the bill received.
However, some students are of the opinion that the conditions required before the loans are accessed be made clear prior to securing the loans.
