Sir Michael Chukwujekwu, Ph.D., is an internationally respected expert in Sustainable Development, widely recognised for his contributions to low-carbon construction materials. His pioneering Ph.D. research — “Pulverised Fuel Ash as a Low Carbon Construction Material in the Developing Economy” — conducted through a prestigious global scholarship at Anglia Ruskin University (Chelmsford & Cambridge, UK), has significantly advanced contemporary knowledge in sustainable construction solutions.

His research was executed using rigorous civil engineering experimental methodologies, including:

  • Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) for morphology and material texture analysis
  • Marvin Particle Size Machine (Mastersizer 2000) for particle-size distribution
  • XRF for chemical oxide composition and long-term sustainability assessments
  • Rapid Chloride Permeability and Pore Size Distribution Tests for durability insights
  • Compression Testing for mechanical property evaluation
