The award will be formally presented on Day 4 — Sunday, 30 August 2026, during the Clevenard Global Award – 3rd Edition 2026, the flagship ceremony of the event held alongside the International Fashion Runway. Bukola Esther Adewumi is a vibrant and anointed Gospel music minister, cultural performer, creative director, and entrepreneur. Her ministry, expressed under the stage identity IJOBUKKY Gospel Bata, fuses powerful Gospel music with the rich cultural expressions of African praise, particularly the Bata dance, making her performances a spiritually uplifting and visually dynamic experience.

She is the founder and leading voice of African Praise Tabernacle (APT), a music ministry officially registered with the Federal Government of Nigeria under IJOBUKKY Global Productions (IGP). Her ministry is guided by 1 Peter 2:9, emphasizing her commitment to proclaiming God’s glory and nurturing a generation that celebrates faith through worship, creativity, and cultural identity.

Hailing from Osun State, Nigeria, Bukola began singing at a very young age, demonstrating a remarkable passion for worship and music. Over the years, she has become a multi-talented music minister known for her energetic stage presence, dynamic vocal ability, and innovative fusion of Gospel music with traditional African dance, particularly the Bata rhythm, which has become the signature hallmark of her ministry.

Education, Launch, and Growth

Bukola studied Science Laboratory Technology at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho, Oyo State, Nigeria, graduating in 2009. Shortly after, she officially launched her Gospel music band and ministry alongside her husband, Michael-Crown Adewumi, who shares her passion for music and spiritual service. Together, they established a ministry focused on evangelism, worship, and cultural celebration, building a platform that resonates with audiences across Nigeria and beyond.

Since its inception, IJOBUKKY Gospel Bata has released several albums and singles, collaborating with prominent Gospel artists nationwide. Notable works include the album “Oba Ayinyintan,” which highlights her vibrant praise style and commitment to glorifying God through music.

Beyond her music ministry, Bukola is a versatile performer and creative professional, excelling as a lead vocalist, backup singer, stage performer, event host (Alaga), master of ceremonies, and creative organizer. She is known for producing memorable birthday skits, surprise performances, and culturally infused celebrations that showcase her creative ingenuity.

Bukola also hosts an interactive weekly online program, “Let’s Rub Minds Together,” where she addresses family, home, and community issues, providing guidance, encouragement, and practical insights for everyday life.

An entrepreneur and community contributor, Bukola operates a mini-market in Osogbo, Osun State, supplying essential goods to support her local community. She also runs a dance training school, mentoring aspiring performers and preserving African cultural dance within contemporary worship contexts.
