Clevenard to Honour Abiel Elson Mawere at the 2026 Clevenard Open Project & Clevenard Global Awards in Alicante, Spain

Alicante, Spain — Clevenard SL is proud to announce that Abiel Elson Mawere, NAMYO Board Member, will be honoured with a prestigious Honorary Award at the Clevenard Open Project 2026, taking place from 27–30 August 2026 at the Palacio de Congresos, Alicante, Spain.

The honorary recognition will be formally presented on Day 4 — Sunday, 30 August 2026, during the Clevenard Global Awards – 3rd Edition 2026, the flagship awards ceremony of the event, held alongside the International Fashion Runway. This ceremony celebrates exceptional global leaders whose influence transcends borders, institutions, and generations.

In addition to receiving this distinguished award, Abiel Elson Mawere will deliver a keynote address on Day 1, under the theme:

About Abiel Elson Mawere

Abiel Elson Mawere is an international relations specialist, youth affairs advocate, farmer, and broadcaster. He holds a Master’s in International Affairs, specializing in protocol and etiquette.

With over a decade of experience in youth empowerment and development, Abiel is a member of YOUNGO, the official youth constituency of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. He is the founder of the Zimbabwe Young Ambassadors, working voluntarily with the Zimbabwe Youth Council, and has participated in youth governance programs from a young age, including the Junior Council and Junior Parliament.

Abiel has served as a board member for several regional and international youth organizations, including South Africa Young Ambassadors, Next Gene, and the Model ECOWAS Summit. He also has five years of experience as a TV and radio broadcaster with the National Broadcaster and has served as an International Relations Officer. Notably, he is Zimbabwe's first National Chapter representative of the Non-Aligned Movement Youth Organisation (NAMYO).

Abiel is actively involved in Sustainable Development Goals initiatives, climate change programs, peace promotion, and training youth in international relations through the Diplomatic Youth Leadership Program.
