About María Fernanda Parada Gómez & FER&CO

Born on 30 October 1990 in Bogotá, Colombia, María Fernanda Parada Gómez discovered her passion for design at an early age under the guidance of her grandmother, Julia, who instilled in her a love for art, creativity, and craftsmanship. From making dresses for her dolls to transforming her bedroom into a design workshop, María Fernanda’s journey reflects unwavering dedication and vision.

In 2010, she acquired her first sewing machines, and by 2011, she had opened her first clothing store at the Centro Comercial Plaza Américas in Bogotá. After becoming a mother in 2015, she drew inspiration to further expand her professional and creative horizons.

She honed her skills academically at the Escuela EDAC in 2017, and in 2019, she officially launched FER&CO (Fashion Clothes), a brand that embodies her essence, creativity, and perseverance. Her designs gained recognition at Expo Moda Colombia in 2020, and she continued to make waves in national and international fashion events, including sponsorship of the Colombia Dance Awards (CDA) 2021.

In 2022, María Fernanda expanded FER&CO to Europe, showcasing her collections in Spain and the Netherlands, solidifying her brand as a symbol of creativity, exclusivity, and elegance. Today, she is not only a designer and entrepreneur but an inspiration to women globally—an example of how passion, consistency, and love for one’s craft can create a lasting legacy.
