Alicante, Spain – The Clevenard Open Project (COP) 2026 is honored to announce the participation of Ambassador Dr. Levy Mokogale Motebejane, PhD, one of Africa’s most influential voices in leadership, academic diplomacy, tourism development, continental transformation, and community empowerment. Dr. Motebejane has been invited as a Distinguished Keynote Speaker and will also be conferred with a Global Honorary Leadership & Impact Award during the prestigious four-day international gathering taking place from 27–30 August 2026 at the Palau de Congressos d’Alicante, Alicante, Spain.
Ambassador Dr. Motebejane is a globally respected African visionary whose leadership spans education, tourism, business development, diplomacy, youth and women empowerment, and spiritual transformation. With more than two decades of experience shaping institutions and communities, he has become a powerful bridge between Africa and the global community, fostering partnerships across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and the Pacific.
In the academic and governance space, Dr. Motebejane holds several senior leadership roles. He serves as President of the Advisory Board at Revealed Word University (RWU), Director of Partnerships and Public Relations for the RWU Council, Global Economic Advisor to the Group CEO of AUH Africa Union Holdings, and Board Member of Revealed Word Bible College. He is also a Brand Ambassador for Ephrata University (Ivory Coast) and the International University of Management & Administration (Benin), a Council Member of IUMA, an Ambassador to Tauranga University in New Zealand, and a member of UNISA Alumni Executive Leadership. Through these roles, he has championed transcontinental academic exchange, institutional excellence, and educational empowerment, creating transformative pathways for students and emerging leaders across Africa.
Beyond academia, Dr. Motebejane plays a significant role in global diplomacy, tourism, and development. He is a Global Ambassador for the African Tourism Board (ATB) and Deputy Chairperson of the ATB Ambassadors Council, where he promotes tourism diplomacy, cultural heritage, and investment mobilisation. His leadership portfolio further includes serving as Country Director for the Pyne Awards South Africa, Vice President of the African Career Development Center (ACDC), Board Member of the African Kingdom Diaspora Alliance (AKDA), Board Member of the South African Construction Awards (SACA), Corporate Account Director for Imagine Africa & Travel Africa 2063, Advisor to Gonnafela Letlole Academy, and Brand Ambassador for World Woman Leading Change (WWLC). Across these roles, he advances skills development, youth and women empowerment, and international partnership building.
Dr. Motebejane is also deeply committed to community development, spiritual leadership, and human capacity building. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Pastoral Counselling Services (PCS) under Profound Consultant Services, where he provides leadership mentoring, counselling, marriage guidance, executive advisory services, and spiritual development programs. He is a Registered Pastoral Counsellor (C4CSA), a Certified Director with the Institute of Directors South Africa (IoDSA), a motivational speaker and master of ceremonies, a pastor and marriage counsellor, and a board member of SA Chaplain and Women of Value South Africa. His work is rooted in service, healing, unity, mentorship, and leadership transformation.
Internationally, Dr. Motebejane is widely recognized for his exceptional contributions to continental development, global tourism promotion, educational advancement, cultural diplomacy, leadership excellence, and community upliftment. Among his most distinguished honors is the Black Excellence Lifetime Award, presented by HBI University (USA) during America’s National Black Business Month, celebrating his extraordinary leadership and lifelong commitment to African development. He is also a respected leader within the Moleboheng Matli Foundation, where he serves as Chairperson of the Indo-Africa Scholarship Programme and a member of the Advisory Board, recognized as a symbol of Black Excellence and a generational role model shaping Africa’s future.
At the Clevenard Open Project 2026, Ambassador Dr. Motebejane will deliver a high-impact keynote address focusing on Africa–global partnerships, tourism diplomacy and cultural heritage, leadership transformation in a new global era, youth and women empowerment, the future of African entrepreneurship, institutional collaboration, and pan-African unity in the global marketplace. His keynote is expected to be one of the most influential sessions of the event, offering strategic insights and inspiration to leaders across sectors.

The Clevenard Open Project 2026 is a four-day international flagship gathering designed to connect global leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives, educators, artists, policymakers, and innovators.
