Taking place from 27 to 30 August 2026 in Alicante, Spain, this four-day international gathering brings together global leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives, educators, artists, and policymakers on a unique transformative platform. Emmanuel Argo is an internationally acclaimed academic and committed Pan-Africanist, whose career spans decades of research, activism, and political advising. He is a veteran scholar at European universities and faculties of law and economics, specializing in law, economics, governance, and diaspora empowerment. He contributed to South Africa’s post-apartheid constitution, helping establish a democratic and inclusive legal framework, and served as an advisor to the Southern African Development Community (SADC), providing critical recommendations on regional integration and socio-economic development. A member of Chatham House – The Royal Institute of International Affairs (UK), Prof. Argo actively participates in global debates on security, governance, and development. He also influenced international finance through recommendations presented at the 2006 G8 Civil Summit in Moscow, aimed at reducing exploitative interest rates on migrant money transfers and challenging monopolistic practices in the remittance sector.

Argo’s contributions to global Pan-African advocacy are equally remarkable. As President of the Africa Mundus Network, he has created a worldwide platform connecting African communities and their diasporas across continents. He is the visionary behind the Africa Mundus Diasporas Festival, a major international celebration of the cultural, intellectual, and artistic achievements of Afro-descendant communities. Building on this, he will launch the Africa Mundus International Decade for Diasporas (2026–2035), a ten-year initiative aimed at strengthening global diaspora unity, economic empowerment, and cultural collaboration. In a historic move, Argo orchestrated the U.S. presidential pardon for Marcus Mosiah Garvey on 19 January 2025, correcting a near-century-old political injustice and reaffirming the power of strategic diaspora mobilization and advocacy. He is currently a member of the Supreme Council of the Global Public Assembly, contributing to global discussions on human rights, development, and cultural diplomacy.

In his keynote address, Emmanuel Argo will speak on the topic: “Channeling Remittances: A Financial Instrument for Local Development in Migrants’ Countries of Origin”, providing participants with unique insights on diaspora empowerment, global Pan-African collaboration, and strategic leadership, offering unparalleled knowledge and inspiration from a globally recognized thought leader. Additionally, he will speak at the Day 2 – Friday, 28 August event, sharing his expertise and strategic vision during the Clevenard Radio Music Awards and international cultural panels.

The Clevenard Open Project 2026, under the theme “A Global Celebration of Business, Culture, Creativity, and Human Connection,” is more than a conference: it is a movement.
