Osamuyimen Omuemu (Nee Omoruyi) to be Honored at Clevenard Media Award 2025

Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria — For the very first time, the vibrant and culturally rich city of Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria, will host the prestigious Clevenard Media Award 2025 — a landmark event dedicated to honouring and elevating excellence across Africa’s entertainment, creative, entrepreneurial, and social impact sectors. From music, film, comedy, dance, and fashion to entrepreneurship, community development, public service, and digital innovation, this celebration aims to spotlight the individuals, organizations, and leaders who are redefining African excellence and culture.

We are delighted to announce that Osamuyimen Omuemu (Nee Omoruyi), Team Lead, Business Development, Forestry Branch, Polaris Bank, will be honored with the Clevenard Media Award 2025 for Excellence in Banking and Community Leadership.

Born in Benin City, Edo State, Osamuyimen is a proud alumna of Emotan Primary School, Idia College, and the University of Benin (UNIBEN). A mother of three and a devout Christian, she embodies resilience, dedication, and service.

Her flourishing banking career spans more than a decade across Afribank, Mainstreet Bank, Skye Bank, and Polaris Bank, where she has built a reputation for professionalism, integrity, and impact. In addition to her corporate achievements, she has demonstrated exemplary leadership within her alma mater community as Treasurer of the Idia College Old Girls’ Association (ICOGA) Class of 1994 and as the Immediate Past President of ICOGA ’94.

Passionate about personal growth and social development, Osamuyimen enjoys traveling, watching movies, and reading novels. Her life and career reflect the values of diligence, faith, and service—qualities that make her an inspiration to women in banking and beyond.
