Professionally, Chief Fagbayi built a distinguished career at Chevron Nigeria Limited, serving in various capacities including Maintenance Officer, Procurement Analyst, and Materials Specialist, demonstrating exceptional leadership and technical expertise across multiple operational roles.

A Fellow of several prestigious professional bodies — including the Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria (FCPA) — Chief Fagbayi’s contributions have been recognized through over 50 local, national, and international awards, honoring his work in education, governance, humanitarian service, youth empowerment, and cultural advancement.

In public service, he currently serves as the Honourable Commissioner for Culture & Tourism, Ogun State, where he continues to strengthen cultural heritage, boost tourism potential, and empower communities.
