Palma de Mallorca, Spain — For the first time, the vibrant Mediterranean city of Palma de Mallorca will host the prestigious Clevenard Media Award 2025, a global event celebrating outstanding achievements in fashion, entrepreneurship, innovation, entertainment, and community impact.

This remarkable gathering will bring together leading creatives, entrepreneurs, policymakers, NGOs, and changemakers from across the world to recognize individuals who are shaping a more inclusive, inspired, and impactful future.

Among this year’s distinguished nominees is LAVOE Yawa Nina, founder and CEO of LANINA, a Togolese fashion house renowned for its elegant fusion of African textiles and intricate hand-beaded embroidery. LAVOE is a bold visionary in the African fashion industry, committed to showcasing the richness of African heritage through refined contemporary design.

Before launching her fashion journey, LAVOE earned a BTS in Banking and Finance, first honing her skills professionally in Accra, Ghana. Guided by her passion for style and creativity, she pivoted to fashion and enrolled in the RIOHS School of Fashion & Design for an intensive hands-on training program. She further strengthened her expertise by earning a BTS in Fashion & Design at BlueCrest School of Fashion & Design.

Her talent quickly gained international attention. In 2017, she was awarded the prestigious Vlisco Fashion Fund and became a finalist in both Jump on Glitz (Busy) and “Dessine-moi une robe” (Sofitel).

As a designer with strong stage presence and creative impact, LAVOE has showcased her collections on prominent platforms including:
