About Charles Inojie

Early Life and Education

Hailing from a royal family, Charles Inojie's journey into the arts is both inspiring and heartfelt. Raised by his grandmother, he developed a deep sense of empathy, humor, and storytelling from a young age. Though he initially dreamed of becoming a lawyer, fate had other plans. After attending a life-changing workshop at Bode Osoyin's Writers Resort, Charles shifted his focus to the dramatic arts. He earned a certificate in Dramatic Arts in 1993 and later graduated from the prestigious University of Port Harcourt in 1999.

Career and Achievements

Charles Inojie's illustrious career began in community theater, where he honed his skills before moving to Lagos to pursue bigger dreams. He served as Assistant Director for Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen’s production company, gaining valuable industry experience. His ability to combine humor with genuine emotion quickly set him apart as a versatile actor. In 2016, his peers recognized his leadership, electing him President of the Screen Writers Guild of Nigeria (SWGN).

Charles's filmography is extensive and impressive, with standout roles in:
