Clevenard Botswana Strengthens Trade Ties With Nigeria To Boost Agricultural Imports

Botswana, Friday, February 7, 2025 – In a strategic move to enhance international trade through agricultural imports, Clevenard Botswana’s General Manager, Prophet Angel, has solidified plans to source organic food products from Nigeria.

In a brief interview with Nigerian counterparts, Prophet Angel emphasized Botswana’s interest in leveraging Nigeria’s diverse agricultural produce, including palm oil, yams, ogbono, kolanut, soya beans, ginger, and flour. This initiative aims to bridge the gap in Botswana’s agricultural supply chain while fostering economic collaboration between both nations.

Commending the efforts of Clevenard in launching open projects across Africa, Prophet Angel highlighted the importance of such initiatives in promoting local manufacturers and showcasing their products on a global scale. She urged stakeholders in Delta State to align with this vision, recognizing the increasing global demand for Nigeria’s agricultural exports.
