The Yoruba Religious Association of Cuba and Clevenard.com Sign a Historic Memorandum of Understanding

Havana, Cuba – On Friday, May 17, 2024, the Yoruba Society of Cuba and Clevenard.com officially signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during a ceremony held in Havana, Cuba. This significant agreement aims to enhance collaboration and mutual understanding between both organizations.

Since then, the institution has evolved and adapted its facilities to serve its community, including a kitchen, dining room, and cafeteria, fostering an inclusive environment for the study and practice of Yoruba culture. The institution also invites people of diverse religious backgrounds to participate in cultural exchanges and research. The society's facilities include the Dr. José Luciano Library and the Alberto Pedro Halls, where meetings and cultural events are held. Additionally, biennial congresses are held to discuss and analyze works related to Yoruba culture.
