Hamza Koroma's Biography

Hamza Koroma is a graduate from Fourah Bay College, Faculty of Arts, and Department of Political Science.He is a visionary who spends most of his time finding the solution towards the Sierra Leone problem. He has authored two books; the “Alternative Development, the Pathway to Success in Sierra Leone and Letter to my Ancestor”.

He was raised in The Gambia, where he received his primary and basic education. Hamza bears distinction in Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies and a first class degree in Political Science, Bachelor of Arts from Fourah Bay College.

He has participated in many development programs and has also volunteered for so many renowned institutions. Hamza is also a

member of the Rotaractor Club of Freetown Sunset which lies in District 9101 Sierra Leone. It is a club that brings together young people in order to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through fellowship creating room for education.

Hamza currently serves as the national PRO for the Rotaract clubs in Sierra Leone. He is also a member of the Sierra Leone International Model United

Nations (SIMUN), a model UN based in the capital city of Sierra Leone and was the Program Manager for the organization. Hamza is an idealist who strongly believes that development in third world countries can only be attained with the use of the local industries. With this Hamza decides to write a book pointing out some of the key challenges and their solutions.
