OB Lulu Briggs Free Medical Outreach in Ahoada East Local Government Area ll 12th April 2024
A 5-day medical mission by the OB LULU BRIGGS foundation which started on Monday 8th April 2024 has ended on Friday 12th April 2024.
The mission was at the Primary Health Care Center of the Ahoada East Local Government Area where the young, old and children came out in numbers to seek medical assistance.
The medical mission sought to provide interventions in the form of counselling/health education, outpatient consultations, general surgeries, pediatric care, dental care, vision care, malaria testing and treatment, HIV/AIDS screening, physiotherapy and an onsite pharmacy & laboratory.
The Chairman of the OB LULU BRIGGS FOUNDATION Dr. Seinye Lulu-Briggs was particularly delighted that through the free medical mission the vulnerable within the society could access quality health care.
The Rivers State Commissioner for Health Dr. Adaeze Orieh in a speech said the State Government was in support of the medical outreach and accompanied the mission in a show of solidarity.
