LIFE??!!

I threw a pebble into the still waters
I saw beautiful ripples appear
so faciful and seemingly real that I threw in more pebbles
the more I threw the more the ripples

so busy spending myself throwing pebbles enjoying the ripples

dusk came upon me without my noticing
looked away briefly from the beauty in the pool
on return to the pool
the beautiful ripples but simply disappeared
natural calmness returned to the waters
And I kept wondering
where goes all those beautiful ripples
then I realized that
beautiful ripples on water surfaces
are mere beaitiful illusions never real
disappearing as soon as beheld.

so is many of the things we kill ourselves over:

mere illusions real only in our imaginations.
