Founder of DSOL (Dynamix School Of Life) an NGO based in both Arusha and Kilimanjaro

My name is Rico Jakk, I am 49 and have lived in the UK for 39 years - Since age 10 (1984 to present).

I’m now working in Africa to create an Alternative to Schools that use the colonizer’s system of indoctrination /military-style training. I am here in Tanzania developing an experiential learning philosophy that was inspired by Learn Through Play ideas used by Montessori and Waldorf schools - these systems first grabbed my attention when I noticed my own son’s learning journey slowly deteriorate as he got older and went through the British so-called education system. I am the founder of DSOL (Dynamix School Of Life) an NGO based in both Arusha and Kilimanjaro districts.

The focus is to build the first DSOL “re-education” campus here in Tanzania.
