The Ikwerre people in Rivers State, Nigeria, marked a special occasion known as "Ikwerre Cultural Day," organized by the Ogbakor Ikwerre Cultural Organization Worldwide.

On Saturday, April 6th, 2024, in the city of Port Harcourt, members of this ethnic group gathered en masse to celebrate this biennial event.
