The Paradox Of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidential Ambition: 'Who Will Be The Oracle Of The Oracle And The Kingmaker Of The King? Adenekan queries.

It is very interesting when a Kingmaker suddenly jettison his duty as a Kingmaker and want to be a King.

Also, one would have thought the oracle is immortal and nothing can ever change the status quo of the oracle.

Our deity, Ifá Olókun Asọ̀rọ̀dayọ̀, ẹlẹ́rìí ìpín is the god of divinity and her influence and practice has spanned across many countries in the world. Will Ifá not be jealous when many of Tinubu's acolytes had for many years ascribed the duty of our deity, Ifá to their political master, Tinubu?

"BOLA AHMED TINUBU, ON YOUR MANDATE WE STAND".

HMMM, "TINUBU TI SỌ̀RỌ̀, IFÁ OLÓKUN AṢÓRÓ DAYỌ̀ TI SỌ̀RỌ̀' (Tinubu has spoken, Ifa Olókun has spoken).

Alas, for the Office of the President that Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu is vying for, 'ON WHOSE MANDATE WILL HE NOW STAND'?

ALSO, IS TINUBU BIGGER THAN HIS SELF PROFESSED MANDATE?

Methinks he has reached the climax of his political career when he avowed himself as a Kingmaker.

However, only time will tell!

Yes, to many of them who aspire for political positions or trying to curry favor for a big contract in the SouthWest, particularly in Lagos state, if the Oracle, Tinubu has spoken, it is a done deal. This also includes anybody that wants to be a traditional ruler in Lagos state. Many a time, it is truly a done deal.

It can hardly be disputed that Tinubu, the defacto governor of Lagos state since 1999 is the self acclaimed Kingmaker in Lagos state. Tinubu is the Ifá and you do not need to consult our traditional deity, Ifá Olókun anymore.

Is this not a case of a mortal man rubbing shoulders with our divine deity, Ifá Olókun?

Again, "Tinubu ti sọ̀rọ̀ , Ifá ti sọ̀rọ̀ " (Tinubu has spoken, Ifa Olokun has spoken).

Today, Tinubu has "let the cat out of the bag" that he will be vying for the highly exalted office of the president in 2023 and the question is, 'who will be the Oracle of the Oracle or who will be the Kingmaker of the King?

Tinubu has also told the whole world that a Kingmaker can also be a King.

Suffice it to say, will the euphoria of Tinubu as a Kingmaker come to an abruptly end when he is now vying to be a King?

Few days ago I read in the online media that Fayemi visited Tinubu to consult with him about who will be the next governor of Ekiti state as his tenure is winding down in less than a year from now but Tinubu has told the whole world that he cannot continue with the cap of a Kingmaker when he can be a King.

Why is Governor Fayemi asking him to perform the role he has just abandoned? Can one wear two caps at the same time?

Also, will there not be a big vacuum when a Kingmaker suddenly abandons his role as a Kingmaker and wants to be a King?

The question is, who will be the Oracle or Kingmaker that will make a Kingmaker a King?

What a paradox of life!

Will Buhari be the Kingmaker that would make Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu a King when his political interest is vested in the north?

Frankly speaking, who among the political gladiators or political actors in Nigeria today can equal the network influence and sagacity of Tinubu as a Kingmaker to make him a King?

I learned Ẹbọra Òwu (the demigod), Baba Olusegun Okanlawon Matthew Obasanjo already told him to remain in the southwest as a Kingmaker and I doubt if OBJ, in the nearest future will buy into the idea of making a Kingmaker a King.

Did Tinubu not deny Abubakar Atiku the Office of the President in 2015 and 2019 respectively and is this not going to be a pay back time for Atiku? Though, there is no permanent enemy or friend in politics; it is all about permanent interest. We will see how this plays out in the nearest future. Also, who says Atiku is not nursing the ambition of becoming the President in 2023?

Another heavy weight in the north, former military leader, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida has thrown his weight behind Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. Though, Osinbajo has not come out to say he will contest for the Office of the President in 2023 but, political observers are already seeing "the Hands of Esau" with his names vibrating all over the length and breadth of the country. The question is, will he have the audacity and political will to contest against his benefactor and political mentor? This is another piece for another time. Please watch out.

Moreover, this is if at all there is going to be a general election in 2023. We are closely monitoring the unfolding political events leading to the 2023 General Elections in the country.

In summary, who is going to be the Kingmaker when the self professed Kingmaker has decided to jettison his role as a Kingmaker and wants to be a King or, will a Kingmaker, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu now make himself a King?

Again, only time will tell.
