ATIKU SYMPATHIZES WITH KEBBI FLOOD VICTIMS, PROMISES TO LINK SOKOTO-KEBBI DAM TO TACKLE FLOOD DISASTER

As the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), presidential campaign gather momentum nationwide, the campaign train hit Kebbi State today.

And addressing a tumultuous crowd of party supporters today at the Polo Field Birni-Kebbi venue of the event, the presidential flag bearer of the party His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, GCON, empathized with the victims of the Kebbi flood disaster with a promise to rehabilitate the victims and link up the Sokoto-Kebbi Dam to forestall future flood disaster.

The Wazirin Adamawa also promised to open up the land borders to facilitate free movement and ease of doing business within the country. He also reiterated his earlier pledge to fight the scourge of insecurity and banditry that have ravaged Kebbi and its environ.

Furthermore, the former vice president of the country reemphasized his promises to abide by his campaign promises when elected and promises to rejig the economy to usher in a regime of economic prosperity for all.

Other speakers at the occasion which includes: Senator Philip Aduda, Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, His Excellency Emmanuel Udom, the governor Akwa-Ibom State and the chairman of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council and many others decried the level of misery, poverty, degradation and insecurity the All Progressives Congress (APC) regime has forced the country into, urging the people of Kebbi and Nigerians in general to vote the PDP standard bearer to rescue the nation, reposition it on the path of unity peace and progress.
