"You know, when I was a girl, the idea that the British Empire could ever end was absolutely inconceivable. And it just disappeared, like all the other empires."

Doris Lessing.

"I love studying Ancient History and seeing how empires rise and fall, sowing the seeds of their own destruction."

Martin Scorsese.

"An empire is an immense egotism."

Ralph Waldo Emerson.

"An empire founded by war has to maintain itself by war."

Baron de Montesquieu.

I never saw a system without sub-systems, or a body where recognition of arms, legs, hands, eyes, ears, mouth, teeth, tongue, throat, lungs, liver, heart, reproductive systems etc is expressly denied and reviled.

No one who understands the indisputable legitimacy of Indigenous Peoples on earth - and this is a worldwide acknowledgement and legitimacy, except in failed spaces such as Nigeria - can understand or agree with a Nigeria, where the legitimate, ethnic, nation groups that make it up are set up for denigration, revulsion and blackmail, except in the case of a ruler ethnic born-to-rule nation and group.

I have never, in all my life, seen something capable of being built on nothing. But this is precisely what the modern day elusive 'Nigerian' is very unwisely willing to do. It is this attitude that has driven Nigeria to becoming the most poorly administered and low-performing aggregation of Indigenous peoples on earth - because Nigeria, whatever that is, attempts to delegitimise those, the constituent Indigenous Peoples, who are more legitimate than Nigeria, who existed long before it was conceived, and who will be there long after it's demise.

Whenever there is a list made of the evils which beset Nigeria, ethnicity, poor, disparaged ethnicity, is sure to head it, or be there amongst it's leaders.

The diverse Nigerian Indigenous Peoples are the victims of a black magic of the mind and heart that would exclude them from recognition and now, of existence in the earth, on account of, and by the evil hands and calculations of their malevolent enemies.

Yet there are those, of the Peoples who make up 'Nigeria', living in their own Divinely Bestowed, ancestral homelands, who will still not see the mortal danger that confronts them from the invaders and would be conquerors, preferring to play around with transient worldly toys such as Restructuring which must necessarily include this enemy with dark malignant designs, or with 'Election 2023'.

Without recognition, 60 years gone, after flag independence, for those Indigenous Peoples who were hoodwinked into the constitution of a country known as Nigeria, and who make it up, without whom Nigeria could never hope to exist, it is better to renegotiate the existence of Nigeria.

For as long as the earth exists, Indigenous Peoples will exist along with it. But empires and sub-empires will disappear from inside the earth.

We will keep up the alerts and the warnings.
