The significant of protest with all humility and sincerity is to express public opinion to the authority concerned, sending a definite message in a peaceful manner, when other means found abortive. I followed with keen spirit of Comradeship and i commend the initiators of the mass protest tagged ''END SARS''. The information is well disseminated to the appropriate quarters/authorities. However, the fattest bone that broke the camels back is the violence that erupted the situation, so disheartening that it end up damaging lives and properties which tantamount to total destruction. In as much as i supported the saga ''END SARS'', i don't in any way condone any form of vandalism.
I sympathize with the family of those who lost their lives in the course of the later unhealthy and uncultured event. May God forgive their souls. It's unfortunate today to have find Nigeria in a very state with actions displayed by some unscrupulous elements in few days. This is definitely not a correctional means and not getting the absolute results to abreast the clamoured request. It's another means of drawing us back in the country. We must get it very clearer. Waging war or planning for war is never the best solution at this time, rather diminishing our repute in the international scene. The incessant display is an disadvantaged to our economy. Knowingly and unknowingly to some that these damages would be later rebuilt by our Commonwealth.
I salute the leadership courage and maturity of the Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for his swift response, taking a giant stride by his calm approach to the protesters, visiting the home of the victims and relating to the president for a quick action.
I implore Nigerian Youths to maintain calmness and awaits the Government to come up with a well formulated policies in other to respond to the request of the masses. Our voices had been heard and i believe proper solution would be proffer to all problems itemized.
I feel for the Youths and i believe in Youthful synergy as an ordinary citizen who felt for the real agitation.
#END VANDALISATION OF LIVES AND PROPERTIES!!
#NO TO WAR!!!
