Presidential election: Buhari wins in Jigawa State

President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has swept all the Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Jigawa State, in the presidential election that took place last Saturday the 23rd of February 2019.

President Buhari scored a total votes of 794, 738 while his closest opponent, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar got a total vote of 289, 895.

There are 2,104, 889 total registered voters in the state.

A total number of accredited voters stand at 1,171,801 while total vote cast was 1,149,922.

The total of valid votes are 1,106,244 and 43,678 are the rejected votes.

It was revealed to Nigerians by the returning officer of INEC in the National collation centre in Abuja.
