RE-VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE AGAINST MEMBERS OF ILANA OMO OODUA WORLDWIDE (IOOW) EXECUTIVE COUNCIL FOR ALLEDGED GROSS INDISCIPLINE, PUBLIC OPPROBRIUM, INCOMPETENCE AND FAILURE TO LEAD FROM THE FRONT*

PREAMBLE

In going through the so called vote of no confidence against some mischieviously selected members of the executive of Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide. It reminds me of a verse in the Holy Bible: Jacob went close to his father Isaac, who touched him and said, “The voice is the voice of Jacob, but the hands are the hands of Esau.” I know the two sponsors of the above and I would not shy away from mentioning them for the purpose of record and posterity. They are the Deputy Alana and his agent, the PRO who is now the self proclaimed communication Secretary.

You know, if one throws a stone at an opponent, one should definitely expect either a rock or missile in return. It is with this background that I am responding to the above allegations. With many empirically verifiable facts available, I therefore resolved to expose the cankerworms to expose the Deputy Alana, the PRO and other collaborators in Ilana for the world to see and judge.

ISAAC NEWTON'S 3RD LAW OF MOTION STATES THAT ACTION AND REACTION ARE EQUAL AND OPPOSITE. BUT NOWADAYS, REACTION IS SAID TO BE MORE POWERFUL THAN ACTION DUE TO THE FACT THAT THERE WOULD BE NO DISSIPATION OF ENERGY. I AM THEREFORE REACTING IN LINE WITH THIS SIMPLE LAW OF PHYSICS.

Ilana Omo Oodua is an upshoot of the Yoruba World Congress which was dissolved as a result of one man, now Deputy Alana that came from no where to misinform the unsuspecting Alana at our then Headquarters in Magodo, Lagos that Prof. Killa, Chief Tola Adeniyi, Chief Akingba and others wanted to pass a vote of no confidence on the Alana in which Adeniran himself was the Chief promoter. Baba was unusually but naturally furious and acted accordingly with the support of the majority that were unaware of the sinister move of Adeniran and Co.

No doubt, Adeniran was acting on a script authored by some external powerful forces against the Yoruba legitimate struggle for self determination.

Baba therefore acted under reflex action by dispensing with the services of the above.
As we were planning for Baba Alana to relocate to Ibadan being the, political Headquarters of Yoruba nation. Suddenly, Baba was lured by the same person and his sponsors to Ile Ife to further weaken the support base of Baba Alana for ulterior motives. Apart from his personal gains, he employed the services of a Fulani formed Vigilante group to be guarding Baba thereby putting Baba's life at risk. Immediately this security breach was noticed by dedicated members of the exco with the Homeland Secretary incharge, the security personnel guarding Baba were immediately replaced. Thus Baba's life was exposed to our enemy which resulted into the claim that Baba's life was in danger. He therefore single handedly smuggled Baba out of Nigeria to Bennin Republic without the knowledge of Baba's biological children. Cotonou, being a familiar terrain to Adeniran, having studied there with the mastery of French and a superb understanding of the terrain. Which is to achieve his sponsors aim of scuttling the revolution.

This is a counter revolutionary measure deceitfully concocted to hold the leader hostage and to control the soul and heart of Ilana.

For this to happen the leader must be lured to a place where he does not understand the language nor the topography.

WHAT A PITY!

Again, when Deputy Alana felt uncomfortable with Arc. Akinola and others due to personal gains, he blackmailed them infront of Baba Alana which also led to their sudden departure from Ilana Omo Oodua.
Maxwell illegally demanded and collected (N300,000) three hundred thousand naira twice amounted to (N600,000) six hundred thousand Naira only from Sola Salako for personal use. It was when he demanded for another N1.2million from the same person and was turned down that he blackmailed her through his godfather, the so called Deputy Alana which gave a one sided report to Alana who did not waste time in declaring Sola Salako a persona none grata and quickly appointed Dr. Adeyeye as Diaspora Coordinator with me as Homeland Director. During the Lagos protest, Maxwell demanded for N750,000 from Adeyeye to stay in an hotel that cost N25,000 per day for 30days in Lagos. When Adeyeye failed to yield, he blackmailed him too leading to the scrapping of Diaspora Office in the manipulated amended constitution.

It was the Deputy Alana and his agents that also blackmailed Sade Olukoya, Princess Okusaga, Princess Oyeronke, Basegun and many others because the duo could not rake money from them.
As the Treasurer of Ilana World-wide, no single Naira nor Dollar nor Pounds Sterling ever passed through me. All moneys go to Deputy Alana's personal account always which is against due process, transparency and accountability.

The Deputy Alana has been using the Communication Secretary to rake money from anywhere and everywhere for their own selfish end without passing through the Treasury. There are several instances but I will only mention just a few.

It has been my stand that Ilana executive should have A TENDER COMMITTEE/BOARD where all contracts to be awarded to pass through Tender Board that would screen and probably interview the companies that might have submitted quotations.

This has never seen the light of the day. Approving contracts without quotations from different contractors but to Maxwell most of the time. A typical example is the setting up of a website which the Deputy Alana single handedly awarded without any terms of contract to Maxwell. We all know that Maxwell is totally ignorant of what is called a website. Creating a website that will involve the payments of dues, contributions and donations without an account of Ilana Omo Oodua in place is abnormal that has led to fraud. Maxwell mentioned Fluterwave payment all the time since that is the only system of Internet payments he knows forgetting that there are better methods of payments such as Paystack, PayPal, Send wave and a host of others that are far better than Fluterwave. However, such money should be transfered to a specific account of Ilana. When Maxwell got stucked, he phoned me to provide my personal account for money to be transferred to through the so called Fluterwave of which I declined because I knew it was a set up to cover up their track.

When a website is created, it must be test run for at least three months before accepting it from the website master. It was Maxwell that employed the webmaster and at the sametime running it. He also commanded members to start to register and pay money through the website. I said no and I would never register until the website is handed over to Ilana. It got to a stage that I was forced to ask Baba Alana whether the website was that of Ilana or that of Maxwell? Baba's response was, "Ilana of course. " If so, why should Maxwell be commanding and giving ultimatum to other members of the exco. Initially, it was resolved that registration fees would be N2,500 for Homeland and $100 for Diaspora but all of a sudden, Maxwell came up with unreasonable charges of 10% and 5% respectively for Homeland and Diaspora to be paid to the webmaster on each registration. The same Maxwell has exhausted all moneys paid through the so called Fluterwave for personal use.

Other anomalies are:

1. Adeniran awarded contract and paid N10million to a contractor without due process to install a Radio station for Yoruba nation but "alo lagbo a o gbo abo."

2. Osun/Ekiti law suit: We all agreed to allow our legal adviser to prosecute the case but suddenly, the duo outwitted baba Alana by making him approve a lawyer that initially claimed to obtain N25million and Maxwell submitted a budget of N15million for publicity of the same case. Initially, they almost blackmail Basegun but after thorough investigation, it was Maxwell and his Boss that appointed the lawyer who wanted to claim N25million before it was reduced to N15million. It was also reported in one of our Zoom meetings that Maxwell demanded N5million from UK Branch of Ilana. When Basegun refused to give him, he blackmailed him.

When we had a free lawyer to prosecute the case, why employing the service of a lawyer that would claim N15million? Maxwell again also demanded N1.5m to pay to the two bailiffs that would serve INEC and the Attorney General in Abuja which I vehemently kicked against and that was the genesis of their attacks on my personality.

Money being paid to the lawyer neither passed through the Treasurer nor the Financial Secretary but through an account created by Maxwell called 'Ibile'.WHAT A FRAUD!

3. UPKEEP IN BENIN REPUBLIC
This has been a very serious issue that must be acted upon immediately. No member was taking care of Baba Alana when he was in Nigeria but suddenly, SOS was being sent round the world to donate money for the upkeep of Baba, Deputy Alana, Deputy Alana's wife and his adopted child. Deputy Alana requested for a monthly upkeep of N1.8milliom and to be paid to the following accounts: N1.2million to Adewale Olu Adeniran: First Bank Account, while other N600,000.00 should be paid into the Access account of: Yusuf Alabi Obey (A BUREAU DE CHANGE AGENT BASED IN COTONOU)

I advised the people in the Diaspora to only pay all to Adewale Adeniran's Account because Yusuf Alabi is an unknown entity in Ilana. The Diaspora branches paid some millions directly to Adeniran's Account twice before they stopped after Baba Alana had publicly stated that he did not need anybody's money for his upkeep. Evidence of payments to Adeniran's personal account can be produced by me if need be. This is nothing but money laundry. I dare Adeniran to challenged me on this. The names of the people mentioned above that were victims harassment, extortion and blackmail are still alive and could be contacted.

4. CONSTITUTION
Ilana Omo Oodua constitution was initially written by some eminent retired Professionals. This was a constitution we were operating before Baba Alana was forced into exile by the enemies within. All of a sudden, Adeniran felt that the constitution is not in line with his personal ambition of becoming the Alana in the nearest future. To succeed in this misadventure, the constitution must be manipulated.

He therefore lobbied the Alana to manipulate the constitution to his advantage.
He hurriedly amended the constitution to be in line with his ambition and therefore inserted the Office of a Deputy of/to Alana in the new amended constitution. When the elders Council members advised against the creation of such office using the examples of Awolowo/Akintola, Adekunle Ajasin/Omoboriowo, Bola Ige/Afolabi, Tinubu/Akerele Bucknor, Akande/Omisore, Ladoja/Akala as few examples, Maxwell, Adeniran, and few others insulted the elders Council members and eventually made the elders Council almost irrelevant. The elders advised without knowing that it was Adeniran that was eyeing that office.
The so called ammendments to the constitution was passed in a 2hrs Zoom meeting without allowing members see the contents because it was never circulated for personal reasons. If we could accused the Nigerian government of 1999 constitution, what we have done is even worse. The so called ammendments vested so much power under the Deputy Alana. Such powers include, "the Deputy Alana is incharge of Administration of Ilana forgetting that the same constitution clearly stated that, "the General Secretary is in charge of the Secretariat." This has been the display of over ambitious Deputy Alana in pursuit of naked power.

5. BANK ACCOUNT
Baba Alana, the Financial Secretary and the Treasurer were able to open an account of Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide abroad.

The account was communicated to the Alana to broadcast to all members but this has not seen the light of the day due to the action of the Deputy Alana who preferred money being paid direc to his personal account.
The same Deputy Alana broadcast an account of YSDM of the Bank of America to Canada branch of Ilana Omo Oodua in their Zoom meeting. After the meeting some of them called me to confirm what the Deputy has just announced. I appealed to them not to mind him. He is doing this out of frustration.

He claimed to have spent Ilana money amounting to (N600,000) six hundred thousand Naira at a Celestial Church for prayers. Wonderful! His wife was unemployed and doing nothing for livelihood in Nigeria but now a proud owner of a Supper market in Benin Republic.

Expecting their reactions before releasing more atrocities being committed by Deputy and his agents.
Nevertheless, my intervention should not be mistaken as an indictment on Alana, Prof. Banji Akintoye but rather a painful attempt to expose the ODALES within IOOW.

For the avoidance doubt, and in consultation with critical stakeholders of Ilana, Baba's leadership position is beyond reproach and by the grace of God, he would lead us to the promised land.
