A wicked person who runs his hands along the face of God’s sword doesn’t need pleading to, for the judgement of God is not far from such a person.

A wicked person who runs his hands along the face of God’s sword doesn’t need pleading to, for the judgement of God is not far from such a person.

I have experienced everything in life: poverty, deprivation, neglect, abandonment, sickness to the brink of death, affluence, wealth, connection and privileges during each given situation - I saw the true colour and characterisation of human beings in equal measures. More importantly, I saw my own nakedness, limitations, defaults and God- given attributes of resilience instantaneously pointing me to the hope of resurrection.

The reality and hope of the resurrection is hugely influencing my lifestyle now more than ever. I am privileged enough to remain and active on the field of play in the second half of life with bundles of experience from the first half of life.

I cannot speak for you but myself. I placed myself on the spotlight of life and realised I had made mistakes; in fact, too many mistakes - how I wished I could turn back the clock. Then, as I was reflecting the privileges of life and reality of time hit me like a Tsunami. The resounding voices coming from wherever reminded me it is not over until the Lord says it is over.

I am playing today with a bag of experiences influencing me towards the Day of restoration.

Whether you or I want to accept it or not, everything here on earth is temporary and will be stripped away at the appointed time of exit. But, the priceless hope of resurrection is a guaranteed reality for those who keep their eyes on the ultimate destination and price.

On the field of play, wickedness and goodness will continue to prevail like a dice. It is up to you to decide and take the path that will lead you to everlasting peace.

Playing with a double edged sword can be very risky. Remember God is not a politician, He doesn’t cross carpet neither is he manipulative. He is truly the all-knowing God, who knows you clearly and what you stand for.

Have a wonderful and reflective weekend just as I’m doing now.
