BREAKING NEWS: PROTEST IN OGBOMOSO AS A REDEEMED PASTOR MANIPULATE THE KINGMAKERS TO BECOME THE NEW SỌ̀ÚN

It is no more a news that the ancient Ogbomoso land is preparing to have another king after the former Monarch joined his ancestors.

It has been so tough for the Kingmakers to choose the next candidate to be installed as the new Sọ̀ún of Ogbomoso, as a result of multiple candidacy.

The kingmakers met on Tuesday 22nd March, 2022 at Aafin Ogbomoso to have a session with the aspirants to the throne of Sọ̀ún, who are all members of Olaoye Ruling House, whose turn it is to produce the next Sọ̀ún.

Shortly after the interview, one of the contenders, Prince Ghandi Olaoye, a Redeemed Christian Church Of God Pastor, went back to the palace for a closed door meeting with the Kingmakers according to an insider who remains (anonymous.)

After the closed door meeting, news began to make the rounds that one of the contenders, Prince Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye, is the anointed candidate for the stool of Sọ̀ún.

A source confirmed that Prince Ghandi is very close to Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, who both are pastors of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG.)

Osinbajo is alleged to be seriously working for Prince Ghandi to use Federal power to have him installed as the new Sọ̀ún of Ogbomoso land.

Shortly after the news of Prince (Pastor) Ghandi Olaoye got to the people of Ogbomoso, they alleged that Pastor Ghandi has manipulated the Kingmakers with a huge amount of money to find his way into the palace of Sọ̀ún of Ogbomoso.

Meanwhile, Prince Taofiq Akorede Adegoroye Olaoye has been the expectation of the Ogbomoso people as their new king.

As at the time Iroyin Òmìnira is gathering this report, there is a serious division among the Kingmakers making a wrong choice of a faction.

According to Mr. Adelani who spoke with IroyinOminira, he said "We are calling on the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde to please do the needful as he did during Olubadan crisis to avert the looming crisis.

Mrs. Agnes Olumide in another interview said, the Ogbomoso people refuse the appointment of Ghandi Olaoye as their new Sọ̀ún because Ghandi is not the 'Chosen King' for them. She is therefore appealing to His Excellency, Gov. Seyi Makinde to use his good office to stop this manipulation immediately.'

Who is Prince Ghandi Olaoye?

Prince Ghandi Olaoye is a pastor in The Redeemed Christian Church of God, (RCCG) led by Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

He pastors Redeemed Christian Church of God, Jesus House, Washington DC, America.

Pastor Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye seems to be influential and he wants to use his position with Vice President Osinbajo to lord himself over the noble people of Ogbomoso.
